Blood tests may be needed and will incur an additional cost. If needed, a private prescription is included in the consultation fee, the medication is dispensed at an extra cost. You will have plenty of time to ask questions and get to know your Menopause Specialist. Face-to-Face appointment time is usually 30-45 minutes. We may also contact your GP to co-ordinate your care.
Follow-up Consultation
30 mins | £110
Your follow up appointment is designed to assess your response to the treatment plan started at your initial consultation. This review is typically scheduled three months following your first visit to the clinic, unless advised otherwise by your specialist. During this appointment we will:
- Evaluate how you have responded to any prescribed treatments
- Discuss any changes in your symptoms and overall wellbeing
- Make any necessary changes to your plan of care
- Address any new concerns or questions that you may have.
If a new or repeat prescription is needed it will be issued as part of this review at no additional charge. However, please note that the cost of any medications is not included. This review is an important step in ensuring your treatment remains effective and safe for your needs.
Advisory Telephone Consultation
15 mins | £55
Advisory telephone calls are available to support you between appointments, offering a chance to address any urgent questions or concerns that cannot wait until your next scheduled consultation. These calls are designed to provide quick guidance and reassurance when you need it most.
Annual Review
45 mins | £165
Your annual menopause review is an important opportunity to reflect on the last year and ensure that your care remains tailored to your evolving needs. During this appointment we will:
- Review your symptoms and overall wellbeing
- Assess the effectiveness of your current treatment plan
- Make any necessary changes
- Discuss any new concerns or health concerns.
If appropriate, a new prescription will be issued as part of the consultation fee. Please note that while the prescription is included in the review, the cost of the medication is additional. This review helps to ensure you continue to receive the most effective and supportive care for your menopause journey.
Testosterone Replacement Initiation
30 mins | £100
Once your hormone replacement therapy has been optimised, you may wish to explore the option of testosterone therapy. If so, this can be discussed during your consultation. Before starting testosterone therapy, a blood test will be required to assess your suitability. These tests are not included in the consultation fee and will incur an additional cost. Once your results are reviewed and it is determined that testosterone is appropriate for you, we will initiate your therapy, managing this as part of your ongoing care. A prescription will be provided if treatment is started, though there is an additional cost for the medication and this will be charged separately. Ongoing blood monitoring is necessary to ensure safe and effective treatment – this will be explained in more detail during this appointment.
Prescription charges if not completed in the consultation

Please do not pay for a prescription unless advised to do so.
